In this section, students learn what corrective exercises are, their anatomical, kinesiological and biomechanical foundation and how to use them to improve or eliminate movement compensations and imbalances aiming to enhance client’s’ quality of movement during training and everyday life activities. Students are taught how to develop and implement safe and effective corrective exercise training plans and to re-educate clients on correct movement patterns. Our goal is to develop professionals who will determine and remedy imbalances and problematic movement patterns in order to prevent or to get rid of problems of coordination, balance or posture. Proper body alignment to prevent future injuries is our goal and for that we use exercises of myofascial release, stretching and strengthening for both athletes and non-athletes.
