Students learn the physiology behind plyometric exercises and how to analyze the stretch–shortening cycle. The components of a plyometric training program are identified with students mastering how to develop and implement a safe and effective plyometric training program based on individual needs. Students also learn the kinesiological profile of plyometric exercises for the upper and lower body, how to demonstrate and teach them and how to combine them with other training methodologies. We use specialized equipment and facilities. Measurement of all variables of jumping performance is one of the basic teaching contents of this section.
